Cuban Invasion?
I love this idea:Controversial Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban said Thursday that he has submitted his application to purchase the Cubs. He said he believed he sent it in last week, though he wasn't sure. Dates don't matter anyway. What matters is that he's officially serious about buying the valuable, championship-starved franchise on the North Side.

I just started reading your blog, and I enjoy it, but isn't it a little pompous to put "Hon." in front of your name? I mean, I know you're a state rep but I'm not sure that I've ever heard any other state legislators use "Hon." used in as informal a context as a blog.
Why doesn't he buy the lottery too then you guys could come home.
Have him buy the lottery too and you guys can go home.
Cuban can shake things up in MLB and for the Cubs. Now if he can get past Jerry Reinsdorf.
