Here's my Friday night appearance on the Rachel Maddow show discussing the impeachment of the Governor.

She seems to think that once a government official is impeached, he either resigns or is removed from office. Since the governor has some kind of fantasy about out-Nixoning Nixon and has vowed to stay and fight, it's up to the state Senate to send him packing. I know, innocent until proven guilty, but that only works in a court of law.

One thing I think all the national pundits need to be reminded of is that you and most of us in general knew Blago was a liar and a thief for a long time, but couldn't prove it until Fitz's tapes came out.

Him being re-elected 2 years ago is part of what makes Illinois look so bad in light of his arrest.
